When Woodland Park Zoo opened their new Molbak's Butterfly garden in 2016, the intention was to make visitors feel like they've just entered a community garden instead of a covered zoo exhibit. Inspired by scrapbooks and sidewalk chalk, I worked with a small team to create custom illustrations, subtle immersive signage, and a colorful brochure for butterfly identification.
